Liliana once a rich merchants daughter finds her busy city life switched to a slow paced rural scene after her parents tragic death. Her and her sister are sent packing to live at their uncles estate in Colorado but  what she doesn't expect is liking the slow country life spending time with her cousins and exploring the mountains horse riding, and learning to run a ranch, where she meets Reed. 

Learning to become a doctor always in and out of town Reed likes to keep to himself he doesn't like change and he likes to tend to horses so much so he gets a job as a horse groomer working for Liliana's uncle in their stables.

However as time goes on and one stormy night changes everything between the two. They find themselves fighting and figuring out their feelings for one another.

PSA: this story may have a lot of plot holes and even historical inaccuracy but i will be doing my research as i write along. please bear with me. Any constructive criticism is appreciated.

Unfortunately, she just so happens to be his assigned desk partner in many classes. She's frequently forced to wake him in English class and ends up earning the unofficial title of Nolan's Wake-up Alarm-a title that nobody in the entire school covets. The last thing she wants is to interact with him more than she absolutely has to. One day, their gym teacher sends her to bring him back to class, which he always skips for some reason. When she accidentally shines her flashlight in his sleeping face, it triggers a chain of events that gradually intertwines their lives together. It's hard to be a normal student when you start befriending the school oddball. It doesn't help that he has more secrets than the Big Ben has stairs. ----- Complete. ... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!
