The woman is Aeon, equal parts beautiful and lethal. What starts out as suspicion quickly heats into fervent passion, and after meeting through the worst of circumstances, it blooms into something akin to love.
Not that Aeon would know anything about that. She's only ever known two things: strive for perfection and not get attached.
But with a serial killer on the loose and Dane's life on the line, Aeon must choose between love and blood. And in Aeon's family, one doesn't turn their back on blood lightly.
