It was the second week of summer, when Ryushin decided to go out into the garden to play with water.

"My cousins and I are going to go to the swimming pool in a little while. Do you want to come with us?" asked the boy from the other house.

Ryushin straightened up to look at him and smiled back.

Two hours later, Ryushin and Ren were sitting in the shallow end of the pool.
