Book 2 in The Professional Series. A happy little family with a white picket fence was a cliché I had fallen desperately in love with. Part of me stupidly believed I could still have it. Who was I kidding? Threatening notes and bodies dropping, would life ever be easy? I thought I had fixed it, fixed our issues. It was ridiculous to think as much. What's that saying? When one door closes another one opens? Well, I wanted to board that door shut. It was no longer just the two of us. Now we had a family to care for, but my husband didn't seem to see it that way. I couldn't help but wonder if love was enough.
