Modern Divinity

Sent by her superiors from on high to investigate mysterious deaths occurring among the human population, Celestine longs to return to her Heavenly home. Her situation takes a turn for the worse when she bumps into an obnoxious stranger who won't leave her alone. Adding to her misery, she's directed to a terse demon lord who thinks of her as nothing more than a plaything. Can she adjust to these unwanted advances while still fulfilling her role and untangling a larger mystery? (TW: Mild violence - there are multiple fighting/combat scenes in this story.)
