He floated further out into the empty void, watching his ship get further away, slowly but surely. This was how he was going to die and he had accepted that fact, his suit was beeping occasionally with a low oxygen warning and the radio connection between him and his crew and ground control was crackling.

George was on that ship..and he had plans for after they returned to Earth but now there was only going to be one of them landing and it wouldn't be him..even if he wasn't running low on O2 whatever the hell he could feel watching him from behind him was certainly going to be his doom if the oxygen wasn't first.

So yeah, this is how he dies.

There's worse fates, at least he's going out in the same place he came from.
