This is a piece I wrote in my Creative Writing class my junior year of high school. I wrote it not to provoke people with opposing views, but simply to give them an idea of what pregnancy may be like from the point of view of the child. It starts off as a teenage pregnancy with the mother contemplating abortion or life. In reality, we never really get to decide who lives or dies, but this story means a lot personally to me.

She was the competitive gymnast who felt like no one loved her. He was the baseball player who had loved her for a while. When these two high school seniors get together, life changes in ways they never would have expected. I suck at summaries, so don't judge the story based on this.
