The lingering, forbidden kiss with Jace....was nothing but a means to an end. By some miracle, he was engaged to her estranged sister Clary.

Temp Fairchild had a problem. Actually she had two very serious problems. One being she was madly in love with Alec Lightwood, and two being she had some unresolved lingering feelings towards her former nemesis, and sister's fiancé Jace.
