This is the story of an ordinary girl named Ari, who lost everything and had nothing except for her books. She struggled to survive in the harsh world all alone, that is, until one day she met with an accident. And got transported into the world of her favourite book series; The keeper of the lost cities.

But there, she realises that not everything is what it seems, she wakes up in a room full of bright lights and unfamiliar faces, who she recognises as the black swan. Then she finds out the worst of it all- The black swan wasn't her friend, but her enemy. And as she's being thrown into the ocean, only one thought crosses her mind. What they had said before throwing her.

But when she survived, she didn't expect to become part of the largest scheme in the book. Finding friends, fighting enemies, having powers, all of them seemed like a distant dream but now that she could have them, she didn't want it. She learned that all of it also came with responsibility. And that responsibility was to be Sophie's rival.

And to be Sophie's rival was to ask for death. But Ari wasn't ready to die again.

hihi !! im annie and you might've seen this fanfic in my old account @amblair , and to be honest I had almost given up too on it, until i stumbled upon @Mermaidpancakes2 's comment on my fanfic and i just knew i had to keep writing. After a little editing, im ready to put it up again. Again, keep in mind I'm actually really new to writing fanfics so I would really appreciate some constructive criticism !!
