After years of bouncing from one foster home to the next, Harper Cain is finally close to having a real family with the Hudsons. But when her long-lost biological father, Ryan, suddenly decides he wants her back, her world gets turned upside down once again.

As if that weren't bad enough, her secret relationship with Hawk has come to light, leaving her friends at Miyagi-Do feeling furious and betrayed. Harper is once again caught in the middle of a brewing karate war as the rivalry between the two dojos heats up.

Caught in the crossfires, she tries to balance her heart and her loyalties.
