Serena is born in Sol's Realm, the Goddess of Life, within the country of Terrainean. Those of Sol's Realm are often overlooked by the royal family and nobility. They live a simple life that most residents don't want changed. This young woman and her family are forced from their simple life and thrust into one that is too confusing and corrupt for any of them to ever comprehend. Not only are they torn from their life, but they are seperate from each other. Will Serena ever find her family and return to her simple life among the plush greenery of her homeland?
