Dawn Wheeler was convinced Hawkins was haunted.
The town was almost too boring. Everyone knew everyone, it was in the middle of the woods, and everyone was way too happy. The town was too perfect, and she hated it.
Part of her was almost glad when people started to go missing, as it gave her an excuse to inventigate around the woods. It might not have been the smartest idea, but it gave her and her younger brother some bonding time.
If bonding counted as finding a random girl in the middle of the woods and helping her hide from the government.
