What happens when two best friends go to a party together? One feels something off but the other just drags her along. Both under the influence have a few dances until the house catches on fire. Both escaping with an inch of their lives, one lets go of the other's hand and gets in a car. Her best friend chases the car down with tears and screams as she screams for help. She somehow passes out and wakes up the next day. Soon the news reports and newspapers say her best friend is missing. A year later she's still silent from the trauma and pain and tries to finish her senior year while trying to figure out what happened. Her family criticizes her but she tries to put the pieces together. One day a knock on the door scares her and she opens it up to see her best friend there but looking very different......

"Bitch, we black!" Essence rolled her eyes with a sigh as her sister paced back and forth in her room with worry. "Has that stopped anything before?" The smaller girl stopped her pacing and looked at her sister with a blank stare.

"Us being black gon' always bring problems but this? Is deeper Trin. I know what the hell I saw. I ain't in middle school anymore. Don't do this to me." Trinity sighed before flopping down on her bed comfortably. She didn't care if her sister said she saw aliens coming. She was going to have her side always, even if proven guilty.
