At a young age Lucia and her siblings dad passed away due to cancer, after the funeral their mother became abusive and Luz her younger sister was diagnosed with adhd and autism our mother hated luz because Luz wanted to be herself, Luca my other sister was busy defending Luz whenever I couldn't Since I had to work to put food on the table for them, I got a job because our mother would be gone every month and would come back in 2 months or so, and she would be drunk or bringing a guy home. Times when she wasn't there was peaceful since we didn't have to deal with her abusive behavior, after an incident I had enough and packed me and my sisters stuff and we ran away when she went on her "business trip" again, we than moved in with our auntie eda, who took us under her wing, after living with her for about 2 years we were moving with her to New York, where we meet the blights.
At young ages me and my siblings especially amber me and amity had to be perfect since our twin siblings Failed at that job and she turned her pressure and anger to us we had to be perfect at everything And anything no matter what, she wanted us to keep up the "Blight Name" since we were wealthy and she didn't want the blight name to be ruined, me amber and amity were walking down the streets of New York when we seen some girls approach us, the Noceda's.

Amity's breath hitches in her throat, and she doesn't speak. "Can I kiss you?" Luz asks, her breath tickling Amity's lips. Without any hesitation Amity nods her head yes, her eyes still wide. She couldn't believe it. Was this actually happening or was she dreaming? Luz looks at Amity again, obviously nervous. She doesn't seem to move, so Amity does instead. She cups Luz's face with her hands and gently brings her closer, pressing her lips against Luz's. The hybrid lets out a muffled squeak of surprise, but doesn't pull away or try to stop Amity. After a moment Amity releases Luz and covers her mouth with her hand, her cheeks tinted pink. Luz says nothing, and her ears lower, the tips of them red. Luz has went to camp and when she came back she didn't act any different, she still didn't get one friend so her mother (Camila) changed. She got aggressive/abusive with Luz and school doesn't help, the second day of school comes and before Luz leaves she runs away and finds a house. Luz runs into it and turns out it took her to the boiling isles. But Luz has changed, she was mean, quiet, hostile and had mad trust and anger issues she also developed Hemophobia (fear of blood) and Traumatophobia (fear of having an injury). When joining Hexside the girls there were mean and harsh like the kids at her human school, but Luz learned how to stick her ground there at her human school. Luz would stand her ground and be mean to literally everyone that got in her way. Luz Noceda was a troublemaker for sure. The Hispanic girl always got into fights with people over stupid things. It didn't help that she was failing all her classes except Physical Education.
