The police were unable to find him and Shuichi knew that Kokichi was in danger. He decided to work with Kirigiri as a detective to find Kokichi and ensure his safety. The question remained - could Shuichi solve the mystery of Kokichi's disappearance and find him alive? Monokuma decided to make the first motive to start the killings, but instead it doesn't go as planned. He had injected Shuichi with something that made him possess more yandere-like traits. The first person that touches Shuichi after the effects have taken place will become his "senpai". Shuichi will do anything to be with them and make them his.
