"She used to play, Guy. And from what I can tell, she was good!"
"How it that possible, Char? She can hardly walk."
"I don't know. But I'll be damned if I don't find out."

The Folsom family was, without a doubt, a hockey family. From the minute she could walk, Aspen could skate. She was out on the ice with her older brothers as soon as they could hold sticks. In no time, they were good. Really good. Not only that, but they loved what they did. There wasn't a tighter group of siblings in Minnesota.
Everything was peaches and cream until they decided to fool around after practice one day. A nasty spill left Aspen clutching her ankle in excruciating pain. As if the initial injury wasn't bad enough, a slip up during rehab pushed her further into permanent damage. Her left foot was completely useless.
From then on, Aspen Folsom had two things : a permanent limp, and a deathly fear of the ice.
