After a boat accident, Shiver, Frye, Big Man and a crew of Jellyfishes somehow found themselves in a whole different world. While looking for a way back home, Shiver finds a mysterious treasure map in a strange town called Rogueport, excited to go treasure hunting with her friends, she sends the map to Frye and Big Man and asks them to join her there. However, when the both of them get there, Shiver was nowhere to be found. With the help of Goombella and Professor Frankly, they start searching for the Crystal Stars that leads to the Legendary Treasure, hoping to find their friend on the way.
What is the truth behind the legendary treasure? Where could Shiver have gone?
