There have always been two kinds of humans.
Those born ordinary-living within the limits of the known world.
And those born gifted-carrying supernatural life energy, capable of powers beyond belief.
Centuries ago, fear and jealousy nearly wiped the gifted kind from existence. To survive, they withdrew into a hidden realm, separated from the world that hunted them.
