In the quaint village of Eldridge, where whispers of magic were treated like the plague, lived a girl named Aria. Born with the rare ability to control the elements, Aria had learned to hide her magic from everyone-including her family-fearing the stigma of being labeled a witch.

Life took a sharp turn when her parents announced her engagement to Lord Cedric, a grizzled man with a beard that could rival a hedgehog. The thought of marrying a man old enough to be her grandfather made Aria's stomach churn. So, with her heart pounding and her magic crackling like static, she made a daring escape into the woods, leaving behind a life she never wanted.

But little did she know, Lord Cedric was not one to let go easily. With a posse of townsfolk eager to uphold the law against witches, he set off to capture Aria, convinced that marrying her would secure his power and rid the village of what he deemed "evil."

Lilith was fleeing from the child's father, a cruel man who despised both her and her unborn child, whom he referred to as a "witchling."
