Amalia Rae Torreva, a second-year architecture student, doesn't live her life that much as she wanted to. She's always been an option, always being compared to others, always getting hurt. Never been one's choice. Not to a family, friend... Simply not to everybody. That's how miserable her life is.
She is always treated as the back-up friend, only noticed when they need something. She only has herself, but that is more than enough to stand up for herself and for someone she love. She also has Chico- her pomeranian dog- daisies, and her obsession in painting. It helps her in coping from her problems.
Then, suddenly, Vance Emery Otto came into her life. A shiftee student from the College of Criminology. He needed to cope up with all his missed major subjects from the first year and their professor told Amalia to help him- and of course, she had no choice.
Her pure intention is to teach and help Vance. But, Vance seems to have a plan along with their situation. He wants to make her feel that she's not an option, make her feel valid and valued.
But in the middle of their blooming relationship, there appeared his first lover. Will Vance finally make her feel chosen or will he be like others who made her feel optioned?
