Japanese Urban Legends: The Yōkai Alliance

After being born as yōkai due to their father committing crimes against the gods, life became complicated for Rokurokubi, especially after the birth of her somewhat demonic little sister, Nukekubi, caused her mom to pass away while giving birth to her. With a dead mother, a misunderstood sister, and an abusive father, it didn't take long for life to become depressing. On top of that, she was a yokai, a form of ghost that was hated, outcasted, and hunted by society. After her father attempts to force her into an arranged marriage, which backfires heavily for him, she wants her and Nukekubi to create an alliance of yokai where they could make friends, get support for their trauma, and try to fit into Japanese society. Recruitment will not be easy, or safe, and fitting into society isn't as easy as it sounds, but she's willing to try!
