I'd never even dreamed of being married when I was a child. I didn't have to. With promises of peace and an elder sister first in line for any arrangements, I was just supposed to be what I was; a child princess to be kept close to her doting mother.
But no one had foreseen the sudden rise of a rebel power, a man with an unfathomable number of followers seeking to overthrow the empires and claim each of the crowns for himself.
