There's no place like home.
Ariel, struggling with finding her purpose in life, finds herself back home with nowhere else to go. Unfortunately home is the last place she wants to be. Her parents who weren't supposed to let her down, did just that. The town that was supposed to have her back, left her in the dust.
After six years of being gone, she discovers that some people change and some people don't. She's on a mission to find out why some people have changed and why some haven't. Along the journey she's hoping to rediscover her purpose in life and wondering if there really is a purpose for all of the heartbreak life offers up on a silver platter.
