𝐒𝐡𝐞 - A Narnian Prophecy || Peter Pevensie by NaturallyNarnian
38 parts Complete
'We fight for the future of Narnia, and for such, the child is pivotal.' There are Prophesies in almost every world. Many are carved into cave walls, many are passed on by wise Elders as entire civilisations hold their breathes and wait hundreds, perhaps thousands of years for something or, more usually, someone. But this particular Narnian Prophecy was sung by the stars and held as whispers in the wind. This Prophecy took but 7 days to begin. The Kings and Queens of Narnia simply couldn't understand why an untrained girl- Lilith, was her name- was sent to them amidst the dawn of battle. Lilith herself knew not what she'd done to deserve being thrown into the eye of a storm. But the Centaurs knew. The Fauns, the Dryads, the Talking Animals- each one of them knew. Lilith did unspeakable things as a guest of Royalty. She won the heart of an imperfect King, said the most unrefined things to incredibly refined people and even attempted murder within the Castle walls. But alas, all are part of a far, far bigger story; The story of 'She'. _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ 'Some walkways reminded her of Hogwarts. Some reminded her of Casterly Rock and others of Arthur's Castle in 'Merlin'. Outlander: The Standing Stones by martykate1
36 parts Complete Mature
Irina is an American archaeologist on vacation in Scotland. She discovers there is a ring of stones (called a menhir, if you care to learn about such things) outside of town, so she decides to go and explore. What she finds delights her, not only a henge (a stone ring) but remains of tomb mounds and she spends a happy afternoon exploring it. Just before she decides to head back to town, she lays down, unwittingly, in the shadow of a tall stone. She wakes, realizing not only had she fallen asleep, but now she discovers that something is amiss--she may not even be in her own time. Even worse, she can hear the sound of men and horses...and realizes she is trapped and has nowhere to run. Fortunately, she stumbles across a young Highlander named Jamie Fraser who helps her hide. Together they spend the night in a tomb, but when she finds out that Jamie is on the run, she insists that he leave, and she will act as bait to enable him to make his getaway. This is not your usual "Outlander" story. A good portion is OC orientated, with Jamie making appearances and then vanishing from the story until he re-appears. When my OC finally gets to Castle Leoch, Gabaldon's characters make their appearances. I had fun writing this, it was the story I wanted to write, and it's Outlander themed. So far, people seem to like it so maybe I did something right! Thank you for all of those continuing to read this story and liking it!! I appreciate your votes and your comments and appreciate that you've helped make this story one of the most popular in the "Outlander" category!!! When I posted this on FanFiction.net, I'd pretty much given up hope due to the lack of response. If you are enjoying this story, please vote. I would love comments as I'd like to hear what you think!!!! To Steal a Weeping Widow by BritishGravity
58 parts Complete
Someone stole the Weeping Widow. The priceless artwork is gone, ripped from its place on the wall and leaving only broken glass behind. The pride of Whitehill Museum and Art Gallery fell victim to heists in the night, and the museum is determined to find the painting and nail the culprit. She's been labelled the main suspect after being found at the scene of the crime. He's been hired to protect Whitehill and keep the rest of the art safe. Both with a job to do at the museum, and both determined to fix broken reputations. But the biggest question of all haunts the exhibits they roam: who stole the Weeping Widow? They painted her the villain. He's learning art is open for interpretation. -------------------------- "Art is to be seen, not touched." His breath curled next to my ear. "But I'd do anything to touch you." "Are you saying I'm art?" My heart knew no limit as it pulsed in my throat, right where his lips began to hover. "As beautiful as what hangs in the Louvre, and just as forbidden to touch." Disclaimer: all works depicted above the chapters are real works, and some real works are mentioned throughout. However, some works and artists described within the story are fictional.
