However soon Hot shot starts to feel unwell. It gets so bad he is taken to Cook Children's Hospital that Monday morning only about three weeks after school starts. Hot shot gets an MRI done and it reveals he has a brain tumor. Tests are done and it is revealed to be Medulloblastoma a type of brain cancer. Hot shot is ready to be brave and fight it. Hot shot makes friends with four other kids his age with the same type of cancer who also just moved to town. They become the best of friends and decide to fight their cancer together.
