Harry Potter was a vulnerable young man. He would soon be entering into his 5th year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The year prior he had defeated Voldemort, preventing another wizard in war. Despite his pleas he's sent back to his muggle family for the summer. 

Sirius Black has never claimed to be a patient man. Dumbledore decision to send his godson away leaves him burning in his own rage, he sends Harry home with a 2 way mirror in hopes of being able to communicate under Dumbledore's nose.

When times are shaken up because of various Death Eaters threatening to destroy life as they know it, both men are thrust into the center of it all, especially when Sirius Black, now Harry's guardian, catches wind of the relationship and puts an end to it by force. But I can't promise Dumbledore won't come and pick him up." Hagrid said. Sirius thanked him and went with the young Harry Potter to his home where his husband was waiting on the couch. "They didn't make it." Sirius said, "did they get Peter?" Remus asked. "No, that coward transformed into a rat and ran away." I answered. "at least Harry is safe." He said.
