In the tumultuous world of Westeros, where power struggles and betrayal are commonplace, young Nolan Norridge finds himself thrust into a perilous journey at the tender age of ten. As the newly appointed lord of Farrenfall, a small but strategically significant holdfast in The North, Nolan's life is irrevocably altered when his father, Lord Nathar Norridge, is brutally murdered by the Boltons during their campaign to expand their influence.

With his father's death echoing in his ears and the threat of Bolton soldiers looming ever closer, Nolan flees his ancestral home. He is forced to abandon the comforts of childhood and embrace a life on the run. His journey takes him through treacherous terrain and hostile lands, where he must rely on his wits and instincts to survive. Haunted by visions of his father's demise and driven by a desire for vengeance, Nolan grapples with feelings of fear, loneliness, and an overwhelming sense of responsibility for his family's legacy.

As fate would have it, Nolan's path crosses with two notorious figures: Arya Stark-one of the last surviving members of House Stark-and Sandor Clegane, known as The Hound. When they discover Nolan hiding in a thicket after narrowly escaping a Bolton patrol, they are initially wary but soon recognize that they share a common enemy.

As news spreads about this young lord who survived against all odds alongside two formidable companions-a Stark girl with vengeance in her heart and an infamous warrior with nothing left to lose-Nolan becomes a symbol: "The Phoenix Rising" amidst ashes left by war.

Cregan Stark/OC - Obligatory NOT self insert I just like making unique characters not in the show/book. Smut, of course. :) ⚠️Warnings: mention/description of miscarriage!!, pregnancy, implied SA, harassment, groping, etc. be forewarned. Not all of this happens to the mc, this is just a list of warnings for things that will be mentioned or referred to in the book so keep that in mind before you read. All characters 18 if there's smut I want to make it clear that my fancast for Cregan Stark is Leo Suter; specifically Leo Suter in Vikings Valhalla. That man is FINE. He is who I write these stories with in mind. * 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙧 * Amara Tyrell was born to rule Highgarden. She knows she was. And yet... her father never stops pushing her mother for a proper heir. No matter how hard she works to prove herself, it is never enough. She will always be a pawn to move about the political chessboard of Westeros. On the night of the Harvest Masquerade, she meets someone that changes everything. A formidable Lord from the North who proves there is more to life than what she previously expected. But she is not so fortunate as to take the hand he offers. Her father has already decided her future upon the dream of every Tyrell Lord; royal blood in their lineage. There is an attempt at a happy marriage. But inner turmoil and feeling completely separated from her supposed family, Amara never quite settles into the life of royalty. Her heart yearns for something she can only find in the North. Until a second fated meeting goes entirely unexpected. A war will separate the briar and the wolf. She will be wronged by the one who is supposed to protect her endlessly. Amara will not forgive. And she will not forget. A rose grows with thorns that must be forcibly removed. Missing any one of them could injure the beholder of its beauty. ***
I Could Keep You Safe | Leanor Clegane | ASOIAF/GOT Fanfiction by WickedTheRedHorse
1 part Complete
Sandor Clegane had a sister, two years younger, who was not murdered as a child by Gregor but survived and made it to Casterly Rock. Leanor is surprisingly kind, tactful and utterly dauntless - having spent her childhood in a house of horrors, what else could possibly scare her? Certainly not the spiteful daughter of Lord Tywin... * For as long as she could remember, Leanor knew to stay away from her brother Gregor. He was the shadow over her whole life; the village children ran away when they saw him, as he was known to be free with his fists, a cruel bully they could do nothing against no matter how many complaints their parents made to Ser Willem. Even the dogs wouldn't go anywhere near him, expecting a vicious, unwarranted kick. Whenever Leanor knew she had caught his attention, a dull sense of dread overcame her. Most of the time he would just swing at her, either laughing when she fell and cried out, or cursing if she dodged and quickly ran away (something she got increasingly good at doing). He could scarcely be bothered to ever chase her, she was simply something convenient to lash out at. But she was terrified of her brother, and she knew Sandor was too; he just showed it by being angry and lashing out himself. Not at her, though. Never at her. Where Sandor fought back, Leanor learned to melt into the shadows, to pass unnoticed without attracting any attention. Out of sight, out of mind. And when she couldn't avoid being noticed, she made herself as unobtrusive, polite and mild-mannered as possible, so as not to raise his ire. * A fun what-if that was never meant to be published but ran away with me.
