L suspected light of being Kira but the more he spends time with him he realizes he might be gay, but light has a girlfriend. How will he get around misa? Will misa get in the way? Does light even feel the same way? He does. But that's an issue, everyone knows about light and misa dating. How will he get around it and stay with L?
