The Hashira are split into groups to safeguard the Southern, Western, Northern, and Eastern Villages atop the treacherous Mount Chryos. Giyuu Tomioka, Sanemi Shinazugawa, Obanai Iguro, and Tengen Uzui find themselves stationed in a remote safe house, tasked with defending the Southern Village.

Amid the relentless battles, Sanemi's rough exterior begins to crack, revealing a burgeoning affection for the stoic Giyuu. However, Giyuu remains ensnared by the past, tormented by guilt over the death of his lost friend and past lover, Sabito.

His growing feelings for Sanemi are overshadowed by the belief that he is unworthy of love, having failed to save Sabito. As demons close in and tensions rise, both men must navigate their complex emotions. Will they find solace in each other, or will the ghosts of the past keep them forever apart?
