Life isn't as simple as it is always made out to be, especially not for Levi Taylor in this part of his life.
His anti depressant was sex, what else was he to do? He had lost all hope in reality. Having his dad leave and noticing his mothers unstable mental health, he failed to cope; he was officially suicidal.
Matthew Patterson lived a stable life with his wealthy parents, although things weren't as perfect as they were made to seem. His parents were complete homophobes, disgusted by the idea of non-heterosexual love. This is why Matthew had to pretend to be someone he was not, a straight boy.
Life is difficult and it's amazing how the lives of two different people can be saved by one simple connection.

However, that soon changes when he receives weird and hurtful messages online, this soon escalates from just one message to something much more serious. Meanwhile, Clay is closeted yet he has known he likes boys for a while now after falling for George. However, he can never seem to find the time to talk to anyone about this as he has to constantly help his sick mum and sister. With the cyber bullying all becoming too much, George becomes extremely overwhelmed, while Clay finds himself taking more and more medication to calm himself every day.
