Lost In The Mind of Me
Laid upon the pages of this book is a story. This is an autobiography. I struggled with writing this and, as you will soon understand, though I knew how to write it, writing it and thinking about it was difficult. I have not labeled the chapters in hopes that you will read all the way through. You may understand me a little more if you do so, but, on the same note, you may end up hating me. Queen of Darkness
Fictional story. When you have been a slave all your life, running and looking over your shoulder is not the way anyone wants to live. But when a girl born into slavery thinks her life cannot get any worse she is suddenly thrown into a different life, one where humans are not the worst monsters out there and she has to not only learn how to survive but how to trive. Hello everyone and thank you for contemplating reading my story. Before you start I would just like to state a few things. Although I have written a few books (Okay 3 books including this one) I mainly write to relax. This is the first time that I will be sharing my writing with others and I have a huge fear of rejections so please be kind in your comments. I welcome all comments even constructive criticism but please don't be nasty about it. Also, Yes you will most definitely find spelling and Grammar mistakes, and I'm apologizing in advance as English is not my first language but I decided to write in English with the hope that my story reaches more readers than it would if I wrote it in my home language of Afrikaans. Having said that I really hope you enjoy the story line and read all the way to the end. This story is a fictional fantasy but contains sex, violence, strong language, rape, abuse, slavery, blood, vampires, warewolved and witches, and reference to slavery and sexual abuse. I'm an artist. At least that's what I'm trying to become. I study art so that's a good step right? I have a normal life... well not really but it's not completely fucked up you know? The Harassment
Ok, this is a very deep story. More info will be on part 1, but saying it now, this story will have sexual assault in it. It's not a gross fetish thing (thats disgusting), it actually related to an issue in this world today. This is me making this problem be taken more seriously, because it happens, and it's unfortunate it does. I want to raise awareness tot his problem, so I wrote this short story from the perspective of my male CH OC, Alac (Alacia) Male on male sexual harassment and female on female happens, it's a real thing, and here, is the reality of that. There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. It's Okay to Use Your Big Girl Voice
Inside you will find a mixture of both, extremely RAW and refreshingly HEALING accounts of my personal war with my past. Unfortunately, Childhood sexual abuse is far too common, and many of share similar experiences. Looking back, what I could have used more than anything was someone to tell me "You're not alone, there is a lightness through the darkness, you can heal from this and most importantly don't EVER stop telling your story to make others comfortable". I've learned that silence is the best weapon for a predator, and I for one, have never been really good at doing what I'm told. I don't intend on starting now. I wear my scar as reminder that I hold the power in my own story, it is mine to tell and I won't make myself sick keeping quiet because my truths are hard to swallow, other people's comfort is not my problem.
