Kundiman is a traditional Filipino love song that can be seen and felt in many ways, like romantic. . .but not as romantic as Maxine Cojuangco's view of love, as well as expressive but not as expressive as her. Kundiman, on the other hand, can be thought of as passionate, much like Yozef Flavier, and can also be soulful, as what he will feel for Maxine.
The woman, grew up in a toxic household. Lumaki ito sa nakalalason na tahanan, at dahil doon nagbago ang kanyang pananaw sa maraming bagay, na bakit ang simple at normal na mga bagay ay komplikado para sakanya, na kung sakanya ay normal lang bakit para naman sa iba ay hindi. Just like how you'll describe kundiman in some times, it feels melancholic. Yozef on the other side grew up in a toxic home, just like Maxine. Somehow, Yozef have his own perspective, different from hers. But the moment he sensed a connection between them after the phone incident, he wanted to know more about her. Even they have their own different ways.
Until it became heartfelt. However, can it also be timeless? Mananatili ba ito at siguradong hindi kukupas? Just like how heartfelt and timeless, Kundiman is.

I screamed. Dani stood frozen. Daisy ran. And somehow... this all started with candied flowers." "An absolute affection coming from absurd person? Shining Glasses included... such an irony". And many more absurdity follows... Putra, a normal student that has been dragged everywhere...
