How many women are mentioned in the Bible? Hardly anyone counted. And why, if it's clear that there are more men? The Bible is written about men. Women's stories are either insignificant, boring, or demonized.
Throughout the centuries, stories have been told by men, taking away women's right to vote. Women were forced to adapt to the narrow confines of the male world, where they had no place.
Here is a collection of stories about women mentioned in the pages of the Bible. In passing, casually. Some of them did not even have a name, some were deliberately denigrated for the same actions for which men were praised. This collection is a woman's perspective, an attempt to give a voice to the voiceless, an attempt to reclaim the right to storytelling that men have taken away from women.

This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis.
