The Beginning of the Nightfury's Demise

(THIS IS A FANSTORY)
Centuries before the nightfury's were announced endangered their sub-species weren't their closest allies.
In fact they were complete opposites, each of them wanted to become the bigger species. So they fought for it, relentlessly battling for the hopeful reward of the other species going extinct or threatened.
Along the mountains where the night fury's subsided, a dragon was hatched under the bright light soaring across the sky. The main character of this story was named from the large orb, Comet. She held her beliefs strong and relented the light furies. One day getting caught in a trap with one after the two attempted ending each others lives lead to becoming caged beasts to dragon hunters.
Will the two continue to hit heads or will they come together and create peace for the sake of each others existences?
This is the story of Comet, a night fury who made the vikings realize they were too powerful to stay alive.
The tale of hunting the night fury's to a single one in the end.
