A story that travels the mind of a young child as troubling events occur and rattle her entire world. Based on a true story, this book was written to raise awareness for mental health, both mental and physical abuse, and the voiceless feeling so many of us share.
Please note that this story was written when I was 14/15 so there are a lot of grammatical errors. The writing style is also very clearly a 15-year-old's work. After 4 years of having this novel published, I plan on keeping these errors because it is a reminder that you can do whatever you set your heart and mind to. Particularly when it comes to using your voice. It is a scary thing to tell the world how you feel about certain things, especially traumas you may have experienced. Let this novel be a beacon of hope for you and the voice you have silenced over the years.
Don't silence yourself anymore, tell the world how you really feel. Most importantly, do it through passion, because who are we, if not the product of the things we love?
