Kai takahashi is a fighter, born and raised to be one by his father, by the time he was 13 he was given his own kamui, Riposū, a living jacket with the ability to give him insane amount of power by drinking his blood, with it he's trained for years, taking down people who would threaten the stability all over the world, all in a way of preparing for the day where he faces possibly the world's greatest threat, but one day, he came home to find his mother and father dead, and the killer just escaping. Now, armed with his sword, Riposū and his fathers robot he built, ND-5, they look for any leads to the killer, leading them to honnouji academy, where they meet a certain girl with a red hair highlight, leading them to uncover a plot years in the making, leading them to new friends, old ones, enemies of new and old....and the biggest fight their world has ever seen.
