A legendary trainer, alias Barbatos, had saved the world from great destruction, and helped Pokemon and humans live together and slept on a deep slumber.
That story, was especially famous around Kalos, as the elders had quoth, Barbatos had slept in the region.
And that is why, trainers and scientists from around the world frequently visit the region, either to pay respects, research or some evil plans to bring back Barbatos, control him and destroy the world.
But the arrival of a certain trainer had some kind of impact on a particular forest, and thus, that is how the said trainer woke up from his deep slumber, visiting the place that was rumoured to be his bed.

After his loss in Unova Ash returns home to regroup and plan which region he will go to next. However while planning his next region, tragedy strikes and his mother dies. to his knowledge he has no other family until one day a familiar visitor arrives offering him a home and revealing a family secret lost for generations. Ash takes this offer and trains his Pokemon for 2 years. Now he is ready to journey out again, this time to Kalos. What will he find in Kalos, will he finally be able to achieve his dreams? And will he find something or someone that he didn't know he was missing when he finds a certain honey blonde. This is rated mature, however there won't be any lemons here but perhaps other some mature topics might get put in here. This will be my first ever attempt at writing so please forgive me and please leave your criticism. if this goes well I might actually write something else.
