We were assigned to write a paper on the messages that a certain band or genre displays. Of course, I chose my favorite band, twenty one pilots. They have so many messages that they display through their music and I took so much passion into writing this essay about them. Some may disagree on my interpretations of the messages, but that's what this band is about; creating your own meaning. Enjoy.

This is a concept I came up with one night when I was driving home and listening to Ed Sheeran's album Plus. I thought about how it would be cool to use one or two lines from a song that he wrote in a letter to a person that I wrote. As soon as I got home, I sat down with my laptop and started writing the first two letters. I picked one line that I liked from each song and wrote a letter based on the emotion of that line, not necessarily on the topic of the whole song. Some of the letters are autobiographical, some are pure fiction. I'm almost done with the album and I'm currently thinking about doing the same thing with Multiply. I really hope you enjoy reading these :)
