A story (HUGE WIP) about a mer who comes from the deepest parts of the ocean, adapting to life with the Top-Waters, they struggle with being accepted. But one day, their world is flipped inside out and they need to adapt quicker than before, or the entirety of mer is doomed.

Top-Waters-Mer who live in the top waters of the oceans.
Dwellers-Mer who live at the bottom of the ocean.
Scabrous-An offshoot species, evolved from dwellers, they're essentially eel people.
Alclim-Messengers between Top-Waters and Dwellers.
Ter(s)-Humans.
Terra-Earth above water.
Påske-A Holiday celebrated by Top-Waters, around the time of Easter. Celebrated mostly in Nordic seas.

I have almost permanent writers block, plus I'm a procrastinator. It's gonna take a while for new parts. I will try to make the parts as long as possible, so you don't have to get as many ads while scrolling through the parts.

"Let me prove to you I am unlike them." Thousands of years ago, there was a faraway land called Oceanum Collis. Many different people lived among each other in peace. Elves, mermaids, werewolves, and humans. After fighting hundreds of wars, the people came to a compromise and started to work together. Realms were united and civilization was born. Oceanum Collis was beautiful and peaceful, but with light comes darkness. The humans felt left out. While the others had magic and great strengths, they were nothing special. A young man, Basil Adelio, found that humans deserved more than to be farmers. But there was more to his plan. He was after the throne, so he could rule all over Oceanum Collis. Together, the magical creatures were able to stop him. The humans left the lands, leaving behind everything they had built. The alliance between the four people was broken. The elves and mermaids tried to rebuild their alliance, but without the werewolves it was impossible. And so the three different people parted, hardly talking to one another ever again. Now, one hundred years later, a new realm has been created. It was separated from the other realms by a large wall. A new leader has risen from the shadows. He believed that the outside world was filled with dangerous things. So, he made sure everyone stayed within the walls of the empire. And those who didn't were never heard of again. As others always looked away, a young man called Orlando, always glanced beyond the wall. One day, he's able to see what's behind the wall for himself instead of hearing stories. "I don't know what I did to make you hate me, I haven't done anything to warrant how you ignore me! Please, just tell me!" "I'm in love with you, damn it!" He roars. "I love you so much Aphrodite, and you scare me because you are so strong and I don't want to be the one to break you!" * Aphrodite Muerte is hiding something and so is her long term crush Thanatos Amaro. Both are helplessly in love with one another and both have very different approaches on how to hide it. Love makes you do crazy things and with Aphrodite and Thanatos, it's no different. Pretending to hate Aphrodite, Thanatos manages to hide his true feelings which takes a toll on both of them. Thanatos has no idea what he's doing. Past trauma rules over Aphrodite at night causing nightmares and panic during the day. Aphrodite has no idea how to live life outside of pain. Abuse has a way of shaping people, and she's barely mended from being so broken. Both have friends that force them closer but their love might just be the reason why they end up staying together. Afterall, someone can only stay away from the person they're in love with for so long. One argument and a couple of confessions later leaves them on a confusing path that has the opportunity to be beautiful or disastrous. Love is magical but it is also savage. For Aphrodite and Thanatos, they are each other's downfalls and each others saviors. How long they last is up to them. How much they go through to get together is up to fate. Book 3 of Beneath the Waves Being left alone for days on end was never something Fri looked forward to. After having just gotten back his one true friend in the world, he thought things might begin to look up.
