Being an angel of death brings you in contact with all sorts of people and supernaturals. However it's normally lower level demons when you bring a soul to hell. 

Chaos ensues in hell as demons are eradicated by some sort of poison, suspected to be created by a witch. Leaving the king and small legion of demons to hunt down the source of this poison. 

Lucifer has been the king of hell for centuries. he was bored with his life. Demonesses would throw themselves at him. Souls would try to seduce him for their freedom no matter how bad their crimes were while they were alive. It wasn't until an unimpressed angel with striking purple eyes entered with another delivery of souls that it feels like he has a heart again. 

Syn, fed up with having to go deeper into hell, marches right up to the throne. Her glare, at Lucifer himself, stirs him. She knows there has to be some mistake with the immediate attraction, but he enlists her help to find out what is happening to his kind. Syn, reluctant to agree feels like this may be a trap. Agreeing to help him and his demons, she fights the sensation of him near her. 

As the investigation progresses, their lives are put in danger. Only one can save the other, but stubbornness may reign as they fight for their lives.
