A horrid sickness came from the leftover twoleg waste, and animals all over the world get infected. But it's not just as fatal as you think. After catching the sickness the animal will die, but after a while it will rise again. The animal is now a dead body. It feels no pain, and is figured to have no thoughts. Or do they? Now a group of cats try their best to survive these hardships.

I have an external link at the bottom of most of the chapters that leads to a Google Doc that explains the world. Please let me know if it works. Since Wattpad has an age of consent in their guidelines, I will have the explicit scenes on AO3 and not on here. If scenes like that make you uncomfortable, this will be the version without any of that. If you're curious, I don't use any of the more graphic words, this kind of thing makes me a bit uncomfortable so I wrote it in a way that didn't make me feel weird. Either way, you read whichever version you like. The Wattpad version will allude to some of those scenes however because some are quite important. I'll probably put an announcement or something at the start to let you know.
