It's been sixteen years since Avatar Denali has passed and the world holds its breath. The time draws near that the new avatar will be announced.
Tensions have been getting high and the nations are all equally divided amongst themselves.
The world is torn into multiple kingdoms, chiefdoms, and tribes that are barely able to stay at peace; the air nomads have no security over their sacred lands, much of the water tribe is fleeing from their ancestral homelands in the jungles to the freezing north to escape the wars, and the very shogunate set to create equality and freedom for a new and burgeoning nation of flame to the west, is turned inside out.
From the shadows, another kind of darkness brews, threatening to spread its roots to every nation on the planet to control the world itself under a new power entirely. The necessity for the Avatar has never been stronger.
But when the avatar is revealed in awesome show of power, they are no longer safe from the groping hands which wish to twist them to their own desires and advantages. Will the avatar destroy the very system that their past lives instated to ensure security, or will they be drawn to the ideas of a whole new kind of government entirely?
