Hold Her

Warning: This is the tenth book in a series. I recommend you go back and read the others starting with "Fight Her" and/or the part in "Protect Her" titled "OC Info" for some of this to make sense.

Hank has just been shot by his informant who was also shot and killed seconds later. As he heals, he begins to grow distant, spending more and more time patrolling her old neighborhood. It gets to a point where he even starts to pull away from his own wife and Ana doesn't take too kindly to that at all.

Waking up alone in bed never bodes well for anyone so of course, it eventually takes its toll on our favorite brunette. Despite it all, she continues to persevere and help lead their team in their shared mission to take down all the bad guys crawling around their city.

With that, however, comes the loss of a familiar face and the reappearance of a few more. On top of all that, crime in New York won't just suddenly decide to disappear simply because the sister of one their most compassionate Captains is having an off day either.

Will it all overwhelm Ana until she breaks?

Or can she fight through it and come out the other end as the victor?

Most importantly, what will happen when all our favorite brunette wants is to be comforted by her husband. . . but he won't even Hold Her?
