Leonardo has been mysteriously vanishing in the middle of the night and has secretly united himself with the sinister ways Shredder and shadowy legion his Foot Clan soldiers. He claims that his joining with the enemy is a tactic he is using to gather valuable information to ensure the safety of him and his brothers. But his strange disappearances do not go unnoticed. His younger brother, Raphael, the one who understands Leo better than even Leo himself, follows his brother one chilly winter night through the tracks he leaves behind atop New York City's skyscrapers and uncovers the truth. Why would the loving elder brother and fearless leader of the most revered team of vigilantes in NYC choose the path of darkness over protecting the innocent from harm?

[Book 2 of the Coldblooded Compassion series] "I hate you." After suffering for months inside a place that isn't supposed to exist, she isn't in the best shape. In fact, she's practically beyond repair. Even her best friend can't find the power to heal her. She goes from day to day willing her positivity to return to her. She finally begins to accept her new, tragic reality when an old face pops up. But the newcomer isn't alone. With him comes a set of companions who she automatically finds an interest in- a strong interest. He isn't in the best shape either, but it's not a twist of fate that has made him this way. He's lost many friends that were close to him, but that isn't the reason he behaves this way. Deep down inside his heart is a black field of despair and anger. It bubbles up constantly, sending him into fits of unnecessary rage. This has given him the title of "hothead." But don't tell him, or it might be the last thing you say. To add to the chaos, the Shredder has finally wrapped his fingers around New York City. After the turtles saved New York from the Kraang invasion, Shredder stepped forward and claimed the heroic title. His sly and deceitful personality is perfect to fool ignorant citizens, so he always gets his way. And right now, he wants the turtles' heads. It gets worse. A storm has started to brew in a distant forest, causing living things to melt into mindless monstrosities. The infection taints anyone who comes into contact with the creatures, infecting them with the same disease. Matters get worse as the turtles return home to find that the storm originated from New York City. Everywhere they turn, there are hundreds of innocent people who were taken captive by the mysterious rain. And without a fix, this may be a race to save lives that they can't win. "I hate you, too." The legend of Shredder and foot clan turned out to be real but there could be hope. The last hope of defence is young mutant turtle, who's life just changed, and not for the better. (Better story inside.) This is AU story. There mutants and humans live together but the relationship between them isn't the best. Leonardo is painted turtle. Raphael is red eared slider. Donatello is razorback musk turtle. Michelangelo is chinese softshell turtle. I write warning here so it won't be a shock: turtles aren't truly brothers and Splinter is only a sensei. It is just "what if" thing. Raph and Leo are step brothers and the story focuses on those two as they deal with family drama.
