It's all chill with thrills until the scary stories are based on true incidents! At least all the stories me and my classmates have been sharing do have relevance to reality. But that wouldn't mean my school is haunted! I mean, I did see someone walk pass by me but I couldn't find them when I turned back; and there was definitely no one walking behind me; neither was the door locked in the empty building nor were the students' headcount dropping in thin air. Short Story Series #1: The 12th Friend (REVISED) A group of friends would always have each other's back. That's what they are. 7 boys and 4 girls. Nothing can set them apart. They've known each other since highschool. Now, they're in college; still goofing around like pre-school kids. This group of friends is all about happiness. This group of friends knows each other's secrets. Everything about them is perfect, but one group vacation will change their lives forever. The trust that they built to each other will slowly vanish. The screeching sound of metal chains can be heard again, but now, its not coming from the room upstairs anymore. Its coming from the hallway, and the sound is getting louder and louder, indicating that its coming near them. They held their breaths together. Now, the sound is by the door of the living room already. Then it suddenly stopped. A couple of minutes of silence passed by. Well, not until they heard a loud scream. We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me. He stared at us and chuckled, "Found you." · · · Seven classmates find themselves in detention from breaking the rules at their school. This, of course, isn't their first time in detention but something seemed different. The teacher leaves to do something leaving the kids completely unsupervised which was kind of weird. He usually left some goody two shoes to watch them but this time there was no one except them. Creepy things begin to happen and they find themselves locked in the school. What was this? Time is ticking as they try to find their way out before they end up lying in a puddle of their own blood.

Each student is assigned as a visitor to one inmate each, to learn life from their perspective. After the week is up, the students are free to go home finally.
