Nicole Balvin has been in love with Eric Jackson since high school. So during a graduation party, she expressed her feelings for him in a physical way. However, Eric had no recollection of what had happened, and Nicole never told him. She also never told him that she was pregnant. Embarrassed, from being forgotten so easily, she flees. Years later, she experienced a tragedy and another closely following. She returns and runs into non other than Eric.
Eric Jackson is still hurting over her departure. Unbeknown to Nicole, he had loved her. When she returns he is determined to find out why she left. He learns about her pregnancy, and then about the tragedy that killed their daughter.
