MoneyManiac follows the journey of Shrey Thakkar, a young man from the bustling port town of Jamnagar, who enters college with a curiosity for finance. As he delves into his studies, Shrey becomes fascinated with the shrewd businessmen in his hometown, uncovering their secret methods for amassing wealth. He forms a close-knit group of friends, and together, they begin to exploit these tricks, quickly finding success.

However, their pursuit of money soon leads them down a dangerous path. Consumed by greed, Shrey and his friends turn to illegal activities, driven by the allure of fast cash.
