Dickinette fluff. Dick adopts Marinette and a lot happens. (Damian found out Bruce was his father at age seven). This story is cute but then dark. I can't think of a description. Except that I actually like reading it myself. And I usually never do. There will be Daminette later on. Many weird twists. My plot. Hope you enjoy. Started, October 20, 2020 Finished, December 4, 2020 Completed Will be marked Mature due to a few things going on in later chapters. So watch out for that. And if you like, comment and vote. However after an unlikely encounter in a darkened alley, Damian comes to the harrowing realisation that he has actually been in love with her the entire time. What's worse? Marinette is under the assumption that Damian hates her. Damian needs to fix this, if he can only figure out how to talk to her without dissolving into an emotional mess. Prompt: Imagine a world where we didn't hate each other. That would be so (fill in the blank) --- This is literally watching Damian turn into goo around Marinette after realizing he loves her. (This was originally a one-shot on Ao3 but I separated it into chapters here because a 28k one-shot is excessive. It only ended up that way because it was originally part of a Maribat writing contest and couldn't be a chapter fic. (Spoiler: I am the MGI 2024 Maribat Secret Writers champion! This was my round 3 submission.))

Marinette watches as Chat Noir murders her parents and proceeds to de-transform in front of her and confesses his love. Marinette having enough of her class bullying her and taking care of Paris makes a run for it after taking the miraculous box from its hiding place. Kaalki teleports her somewhere and three people find her and take her in. A while later a boy by the name Damian takes an interest in the Parisian girl. Side note None of the characters are mine they don't belong to me, if there are any pictures/art they don't belong to me!
