Arrcadia Arlys Lopez-Escribano, a sharp-tongued and snobbish woman, finds herself trapped in an old family tradition of arranged marriages. At just a young age, she is chosen by Rainér Orson Verdugo, the charming and flirtatious heir of one of the powerful business family around the whole continents to be his fiancée. She tries her best to hide in the farthest corner of the table to avoid being picked, yet fate plays a cruel joke on her.

Five years later, fate intervenes the two of them again as Arrcadia's parents enroll her in the same university where Rainér studies. Determined to break free from the engagement before graduation, Arrcadia makes a plan to escape from the business marriage. However, her schemes seem to backfire, drawing her closer to Rainér the more she's with him.
