This book narrates the story of Dysodia, from his birth in the small town of Utrobata to his death in the city of Epithymia, in a poetic form.
Dysodia was born in a dumping ground of Utrobata. He is the son of a prostitute named Akardos, who abandoned him right after his birth. Fate takes him to Epithymia, the biggest city in the world, which is ruled by King Alazonikos. After being beaten and humiliated for his whole life, he discovers that he wants something which is almost impossible to achieve.
